Campaign Notes
The following are a list of things Saraigh has noticed over the course of his adventure. Both mundane and monumental occurances are noted. Not everything listed should be trusted as relevent or accurate; they merely represent what Saraigh has heard or knows.
Resolved
- Apparently an assassin working for a local thain named Hanamas has attempted to either kill Saraigh or have all/most of the svamaynads killed. When his story didn't add up after Saraigh told the svamáynads following his capture, Saraigh travelled to track down Hanamas with a svamáynad named Athelwulf Keine. Hanamas and his household were slaughtered to the man by the two, and Saraigh made off with a fortune.
- After proving his capability in battle, Athelwulf has now given Saraigh his respect. Should Saraigh ever return to Súyavara, he'll be welcome with the svamáynads.
- Saraigh is now a Class VII Merchant, and can sell weapons freely.
- Saraigh purchased both a green-tint wootz breastplate and a family heirloom sword from a smith and iron merchant named Ande Keine at a massive discount, though Saraigh instead paid him over eight times the price of the sword in sheets of electrum and platnum. Ande has allowed Saraigh to stay at his home with his wife Cwen, son Kenhild, and daughter LÃli any time he is in Basfert.
Unresolved
- Saraigh should probably never show his face in Soilada again, unless the locals discover he was part of the massacre at Hanamas's estate. Athelwulf suggests heading out to Basfert.
- Hanamas had an extreme amount of money on him, which Saraigh looted after butchering him, making Saraigh rich beyond belief.
- Athelwulf told Saraigh to mention his name in Basfert.
- Saraigh saw a strange, fast moving cloud of dust while bathing at the oasis not found on the maps.
- The patient and unwavering gatekeeper, Wolfmar Dvanarbayyà , seems both friendly and immune to Saraigh's bribery.
- Prostitution is not tolerated.
- An exchequer recognized the name Anam before.
- Ande and Athelwulf have borne a grudge against each other since their mother died. Ande turned to raising a family while Athelwulf became a svamáynad.
