Weight: 180 lbs

Role: Warrior/Mage

Summary: A strange traveler seeking to purge demons

Background

The Wanderer is an enigmatic figure.

Plot

He will join the PC if the PC is alone anytime after a specific event about ½ through the story (the PC will become separated from the rest of his party, but doesn’t have to set out alone, and thus might not ever encounter the Wanderer). He does not reveal why he is joining the PC until they defeat the lesser demon together, after which he reveals that he is tracking down and slaying all the lesser demons in the world (12 total). Should the PC manage to kill 7 lesser demons with the Wanderer, he reveals a detail he overlooked earlier: he is killing the lesser demons so that he can hasten the coming of the End Times. He explains that a new, perfect paradise can only be created by God once the demons of the world are all killed, though the creation of a new Eden will require the destruction of the current world in the process. The PC can choose to leave him, try to stop him, or aid him in his quest. He is the only NPC not tied into the main story at all, and plays no significant role in the plot at all. He is an entirely optional character. However, he is the central figure of the largest sub quest of the game (hunting the 11 other lesser demons). As well, he provides information about flora, fauna, and the weather in nearly every area of the game if prompted.

Equipment/Abilities

The Wanderer is the most powerful character in terms of access to sheer amount of abilities. Though he can only use great swords and pistoles, he has access to all combat skills, most alchemy skills, and all Will skills, though access to virtually nothing else. He has low HP, however, and cannot use armor: boots, gauntlets, and cloaks.
